The Challenge
We needed a real-time booking engine to handle dozens of service types and providers while giving drivers instant confirmations. The system had to scale under heavy load and deliver a smooth experience on web and mobile. Businesses required flexible controls to accept or decline orders and track appointment timelines. The search had to combine geolocation with Google map markers and list filtering.
Our Solution
We built a Java-based backend with a live scheduling engine that pushes availability updates via WebSockets. The Next.js web portal lets businesses create locations, add staff and monitor appointments and analytics. The Flutter app offers drivers a seamless booking flow with GPS-enabled map search and list filters. All services run on AWS with auto-scaling compute and database replicas to keep response times under 200 ms.
