The Challenge
The project demanded a fully custom platform without recurring CMS fees while supporting a real-time configurator with accurate pricing and high-resolution images. We needed to sync vineyard inventory in real time, optimize media delivery for fast page loads and build an SEO-friendly blog for rich storytelling. The system also had to scale during peak promotions and ensure secure checkout flows
Our Solution
We developed a Django backend exposing a REST API for product data, inventory and bundle logic. A React.js frontend powers the configurator with live 3D previews and instant price updates. AWS CloudFront delivers optimized assets and a lightweight markdown CMS within Django handles the blog. Stripe integration secures payments and AWS auto-scaling ensures consistent performance under load
